The nqa bier ipv6 udp-port command sets a UDP port number used to receive BIERv6 Echo Request messages.
The undo nqa bier ipv6 udp-port command restores the default configuration.
By default, the UDP port number is 49100.
Usage Scenario
Before running the ping bier ipv6 or tracert bier ipv6 command, run the nqa bier ipv6 udp-port command to set the UDP port number for receiving request packets. Otherwise, the default UDP port number 49100 is used.
Precautions
The nqa bier ipv6 udp-port command only specifies the UDP port number but does not enable it. To enable a UDP port, run the undo nqa bier ipv6 echo-reply disable command and configure BIERv6 on the device.
If the UDP port number specified using the nqa bier ipv6 udp-port command has been used by another protocol, the UDP port number may fail to be occupied after the upgrade. As a result, the device cannot reply with a response packet. You can run the display udp ipv6 status command to check whether the UDP port is enabled.
