hop-limit (MPLS TE P2MP template view)

Function

The hop-limit command sets the hop limit for a P2MP LSP in a P2MP tunnel template.

The undo hop-limit command restores the default value of the hop limit.

By default, a P2MP LSP established using the P2MP tunnel template contains a maximum of 32 hops.

Usage Scenario

To limit the maximum number of hops on a P2MP TE LSP that is established using a P2MP tunnel template, run the hop-limit command.

Prerequisites

A P2MP tunnel template has been configured using the mpls te p2mp-template command.
