Function

The entropy-label command enables the entropy label capability for automatic RSVP-TE tunnels in a P2P TE tunnel template.

The undo entropy-label command disables the entropy label capability.

By default, the entropy label capability for automatic RSVP-TE tunnels in a P2P TE tunnel template inherits the globally configured entropy label capability.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The entropy label is configured to address the severe load imbalance on a network. To enable the entropy label capability for automatic RSVP-TE tunnels, run the entropy-label command. To disable it, run the entropy-label block command. By default, the entropy label capability for automatic RSVP-TE tunnels inherits the globally configured entropy label capability. With the entropy label capability enabled for automatic RSVP-TE tunnels and the egress, the tunnel uses the entropy label to balance traffic.
