passive-session udp-port 3784

Function

The passive-session udp-port 3784 command changes the destination UDP port number of a specified passive BFD session to 3784.

The undo passive-session udp-port 3784 command restores the destination UDP port number of a specified passive BFD session to 4784.

The default destination UDP port number is 4784 for a passive BFD session.

Format

passive-session udp-port 3784 peer peer-ip

undo passive-session udp-port 3784 peer peer-ip

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

According to relevant standards , a passive BFD session uses 4784 as the destination UDP port number by default. If Huawei device interworks with a non-Huawei device that is not implemented according to the relevant standards , run the passive-session udp-port command to change the destination UDP port number of a specified passive BFD session to 3784.

Prerequisites

BFD has been globally enabled using the bfd command in the system view.

Configuration Impact

After the passive-session udp-port command is run to change the destination UDP port number of a passive BFD session, the original passive BFD session is deleted and then a passive BFD session is re-created based on the destination UDP port number of 3784.

Example

# Change the destination UDP port number of a passive BFD session for detecting the link to the peer IP address 1.1.1.1 to 3784.
