connect-server (PCE client view)

Function

The connect-server command configures a candidate PCE server for a PCE client and displays the candidate PCE server view.

The undo connect-server command deletes a candidate PCE server.

By default, no candidate PCE server is configured for a PCE client.

Format

connect-server ip-address

undo connect-server ip-address

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A client sends a request to the server to calculate a path, and the server calculates a path.

Multiple candidate PCE servers can be specified for a PCE client. To specify a candidate PCE server for a PCE client, run the connect-server command.

Follow-up Procedure

Run the preference command to set a priority value for each candidate server.
