Function

The peer virtual-link te link administrative group command configures an affinity value for a virtual link.

The undo peer virtual-link te link administrative group command deletes the affinity value of a virtual link.

The peer virtual-link te link administrative group name command configures an affinity name for a virtual link.

The undo peer virtual-link te link administrative group name command deletes the affinity name configured for a virtual link.

By default, no affinity is configured for a virtual link.

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
peerIpv6Addr

Specifies the IPv6 address of a peer.

The value is a 32-digit hexadecimal number, in the format X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X.

group-value

Specifies an affinity value.

The value is in hexadecimal notation and ranges from 0x1-0xffffffff. The default value is 0x0.

name-string

Specifies an affinity name.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters.

Usage Scenario

A link administrative group is a 32-bit vector representing a virtual link attribute of a BGP neighbor. When configuring peer virtual-link te link administrative group, you need to use the link administrative group attribute and affinity attribute together.

Prerequisites

  1. An affinity name mapping template has been created using the path-constraint affinity-mapping command, and the mapping between affinity names and bits in affinity values has been configured.
  2. A virtual link across an L3 network has been constructed using the peer virtual-link command. Topology information is reported to the controller based on the virtual link for path computation.
