Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When interconnecting interfaces that require the same bandwidth mode, you can run the port-mode command to set an interface's bandwidth to 1 Gbit/s or 10 Gbit/s.

Prerequisites

The MAC and PHY components of a subcard support switching between 1 Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s.

Example

# Set GE 0/1/25's bandwidth mode to 1 Gbit/s.
