Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To create a port-queue template in the system view, run the port-queue-template command. You can set scheduling parameters for eight port queues in the template. Configuring and applying a port-queue template to interfaces reduces workload of configuring port queues.

Follow-up Procedure

After the port-queue-template command is run, if the port-queue template specified by port-queue-name does not exist, the system creates a new port-queue template; if the port-queue template specified by port-queue-name exists, the system displays the port-queue template view.

Precautions

You can configure a maximum of 1024 port-queue templates in the system.

After a port-queue profile is used, this template cannot be deleted.
