Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When a network is congested, to ensure that service packets in the queues of a high priority, such as VoIP packets and video packets, are preferentially scheduled, run the port-queue-template command. After packets enter the queues on an interface, the interface schedules packets based on the port-queue template.

Prerequisites

A port-queue profile has been created.

Precautions

The port-queue command and the template configured using the port-queue-template command are mutually exclusive on an interface.

Example

# Apply the port-queue template named test to outgoing traffic on GE 0/1/0.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] port-queue-template test
[*HUAWEI-port-queue-template-test] quit
[*HUAWEI] interface GigabitEthernet 0/1/0
[*HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/0] port-queue-template test outbound
