pppoe-server bind

Function

The pppoe-server bind command binds the VT to the interface on the device through which the user accesses the network.

The undo pppoe-server bind command deletes the VT bound to the interface on the device through which the user accesses the network.

By default, VT0 is bound to the interface on the device through which the user accesses the network.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

pppoe-server bind virtual-template virtual-template-number

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
virtual-template virtual-template-number

Specifies the number of a VT.

The value ranges from 0 to 1023.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You need to create a VT before binding it to the interface on the through which the user access the network. You can configure parameters for PPP on the VT.

If the pppoe-server bind command is run more than once in the same view, the latest configuration overrides the previous one.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
