Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

PPPoE uses the client/server model. A PPPoE client initiates a connection request to a PPPoE server. After a session is established, the PPPoE server provides access control and authentication for the PPPoE client. To help clients identify a PPPoE server, run the pppoe-server ac-name command to configure a name for a PPPoE server.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
