Function

The pppoe-server send padt always command configures the to delay sending PADT packets.

The undo pppoe-server send padt always command restores the default configuration.

By default, PADT packets are sent without a delay.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

To allow the device to negotiate successfully with devices of other vendors, run the pppoe-server send padt always command as needed.

Configuration Impact

After running the pppoe-server send padt always command,

The device does not send LCP Terminal Request or Terminal Ack packets together with PADT packets.
If the device does not receive LCP Terminal Ack packets after sending LCP Terminal Request packets, it sends PADT packets after a delay of 4s. If the device receives LCP Terminal Ack packets, it sends PADT packets after a delay of 1s.
If the device does not receive PADT packets after sending LCP Terminal Ack packets, it sends PADT packets after a delay of 4s.
If the device receives PADT packets from the terminal but not any Terminal packets, it does not respond.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
