ptp-adaptive atr hop-by-hop

Function

The ptp-adaptive atr hop-by-hop command enables the 1588 ATR client hop-by-hop mode.

The undo ptp-adaptive atr hop-by-hop command disables the 1588 ATR client hop-by-hop mode.

By default, the 1588 ATR client hop-by-hop mode is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To allow a client to interconnect with a time server in 1588v2 unicast negotiation mode, run the ptp-adaptive atr hop-by-hop command to enable the 1588 ATR client hop-by-hop mode. The client must be directly connected to the time server.

Prerequisites

The ptp-adaptive enable, ptp-adaptive device-type client, and ptp-adaptive time profile commands have been run in the system view.

Precautions

After the 1588 ATR client hop-by-hop mode is configured, the value range of the 1588 ATR clock domain is changed to 0-255. The default value of the 1588 ATR clock domain is 0.
