The ptp clock-source local-priority command configures a local priority for a local or BITS clock source.
The undo ptp clock-source local-priority command restores the default configuration.
The default local priority of a local or BITS clock source is 128.

Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
local-priority-value |
Displays the local priority of a PTP interface. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 255. A smaller value indicates a higher priority. |
local |
Indicates that the clock source is a local clock source. |
- |
bits1 |
External reference source bit1. |
- |
slot slot-id |
Specifies the slot ID of the main control board. Only the master and slave main control boards that can exchange BITS signals support the configurations of the slot slot-id keyword and parameter. |
The value is a string of 1 to 16 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. |
Usage Scenario
In the CU-106 or the G8275.1 best master clock (BMC) algorithm, the local priority of a local or BITS clock source is compared with the interface priority of a line clock source. To configure a local priority of the local or BITS clock source, run the ptp clock-source local-priority command.
This command applies only to G.8275.1 and CU-106.Prerequisites
The ptp profile cu-106 enable command or the ptp profile g-8275-1 enable command has been run.
Precautions
This command is supported only on the admin VS.
If all priority attributes other than the interface priority are the same between the local/BITS clock source and line clock source, the clock source with the smaller local priority is preferred.
