ptp clock-source on

Function

The ptp clock-source on command allows a device to use BITS1 clock signals to calculate the best master clock (BMC).

The ptp clock-source off command disables a device from using BITS1 clock signals to calculate the BMC.

By default, a device does not use BITS1 signals to calculate the BMC.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To allow a device to use a BITS interface to synchronize the time with other devices, run the ptp clock-source bits1 on command on the device.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
