The ptp enable command enables PTP on a specific interface.
The undo ptp enable command disables PTP on a specific interface.
By default, PTP is disabled on an interface.
Usage Scenario
The PTP protocol can be enabled in two dimensions: system and interface.
Run the ptp enable command to enable PTP on the device, and then configure PTP in the system view. Then, you need to run this command to enable PTP on the interface. After PTP is enabled on the interface, the interface can receive and send PTP packets. If an interface is selected as the best master clock, the device can perform clock synchronization through the PTP packets received by the interface. PTP can be enabled on only one interface of the OC.Precautions
In SMPTE-2059-2, if PTP is enabled on an interface and Layer 3 packet encapsulation is not configured, the source IP address in the ptp udp-egress source-ip command is automatically set to the IP address of the management network interface.
In SMPTE-2059-2, after the undo ptp udp-egress source-ip command is run on an interface, PTP is disabled on the interface.
