lpt oam-period

Function

The lpt oam-period command configures an OAM detection period for an LPT instance.

The undo lpt oam-period command restores the default OAM detection period for an LPT instance.

By default, the OAM detection period is 10 for an LPT instance.

Usage Guidelines

To configure an OAM detection period for an LPT instance, run the lpt oam-period command. This period is carried in sent packets, and the peer timeout period is three times the OAM detection period.
