qos-profile(Value-added service policy view)

Function

The qos-profile command binds a QoS template to the value-added service template.

The undo qos-profile command cancels the binding relationship between the QoS template and the value-added service template.

By default, the QoS template is not bound to the value-added service template.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

qos-profile qos-profile-name

undo qos-profile [ qos-profile-name ]

Specifies the name of the QoS template.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 case-sensitive characters.

Usage Scenario

The qos-profile command is used to bind a QoS template to the value-added service template.

Prerequisites

The following tasks should be complete before you use the qos-profile command:

  • Configuring a value-added service template (BOD service).
  • Configuring a QoS template.

Configuration Impact

The configuration of the bound QoS template is used to restrict bandwidth of the BOD service.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.

The command can be configured only for the BOD service.

The command cannot be configured while the qos-profile is in time-range mode.

The command cannot be configured while the qos-profile is in 8cos-enhance mode.
