Function

The diameter gx attribute used-service-unit include cc-output-octets command enables the device to report to a Diameter server the downstream VAS traffic used by each prepaid user.

The undo diameter gx attribute used-service-unit include cc-output-octets command restores the default configuration.

By default, the device reports to a Diameter server only the total VAS traffic used by each prepaid user.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable the BRAS device to report to a Diameter server the downstream VAS (BOD) traffic used by each prepaid user, run the diameter gx attribute used-service-unit include cc-output-octets command. After the command is run, the device reports the downlink VAS traffic used by each prepaid user.

Configuration Impact

After the diameter gx attribute used-service-unit include cc-output-octets command is run, the Diameter server can decrease user quotas based on the downstream traffic used by each prepaid user.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
