radius-attribute enable framed-ip-netmask account-request

Function

The radius-attribute enable framed-ip-netmask account-request command configures a device to add a 32-bit Framed-IP-Netmask attribute to an Accounting-Request packet.

The undo radius-attribute enable framed-ip-netmask account-request command restores the default configuration.

By default, an Accounting-Request packet does not carry a 32-bit Framed-IP-Netmask attribute.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

radius-attribute enable framed-ip-netmask netmask-length account-request

undo radius-attribute enable framed-ip-netmask netmask-length account-request

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
netmask-length

Specifies the length of the Framed-IP-Netmask attribute.

The value is an integer 32, in bits.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If you want to send a 32-bit Framed-IP mask to a RADIUS server, run the radius-attribute enable command to encapsulate the 32-bit Framed-IP mask into a 32-bit Framed-IP-Netmask attribute in an Accounting-Request packet and send the packet to the RADIUS server.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
