radius-attribute tunnel-password

Function

The radius-attribute tunnel-password command sets the mode in which the RADIUS server sends a tunnel password to simple text or cipher on the device.

The undo radius-attribute tunnel-password command restores the default setting.

By default, the RADIUS server sends a tunnel password in cipher mode.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

radius-attribute tunnel-password { cipher | simple }

undo radius-attribute tunnel-password

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The device supports either of the following modes in which the RADIUS server sends a tunnel password: simple text or cipher. The mode configured on the device needs to be the same as the mode in which the RADIUS server sends a tunnel password.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
