The radius-server cache resend packet command triggers the sending of cached accounting packets.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the function to cache accounting packets is enabled, accounting packets are cached when the device is disconnected from the RADIUS server during user login. If the radius-server cache keep packet command is run, accounting packets are cached after the number of retransmissions reaches the specified upper limit. To manually trigger the sending of cached accounting packets, run the radius-server cache resend packet command. Cached accounting packets are sent once every time the command is run.

Prerequisites

The function to cache accounting packets has been enabled. The device has been disabled from deleting cached accounting packets after the number of retransmissions reaches the specified upper limit.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
