Function

The radius-server format-attribute calling-station-id user-defined command configures an encapsulation format for the Calling-Station-Id attribute.

The undo radius-server format-attribute calling-station-id command deletes the configured encapsulation format for the Calling-Station-Id attribute.

By default, no encapsulation format is specified for the Calling-Station-Id attribute.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
version3

The Calling-Station-Id attribute is generated in the following format:

{lag-Trunkid|eth Slot/Subslot/Port}:Pvlan.Cvlan#SystemName###pppoe mac-address#.

  • Slot specifies a slot ID, Subslot specifies a sub-slot ID, and Port specifies a port number.
  • Pvlan specifies an outer VLAN ID, Cvlan specifies an inner VLAN ID. If no VLAN exists, Pvlan and Cvlan are set to 0.
  • mac-address specifies a physical address. The value of mac-address is separated by a semicolon (:).

The other fields are fixed.

Usage Guidelines

Different RADIUS servers have different requirements for attribute formats. To configure a device to encapsulate the Calling-Station-Id attribute in the version3 format, run the radius-server format-attribute calling-station-id user-defined version3 command.
