batch-backup service-type daily

Function

The batch-backup service-type daily command enables daily backup for user services in a remote backup service (RBS).

The undo batch-backup service-type daily command disables daily backup for user services in an RBS.

By default, hot backup is used for user services in an RBS.

Format

batch-backup service-type { bras | multicast | all | igmp-snooping | dhcp-server | dhcpv6-relay } daily daytime

undo batch-backup service-type { bras | multicast | all | igmp-snooping | dhcp-server | dhcpv6-relay }

Parameters

bras	Backs up BRAS services on an RBS.	-
l2tp	Backs up L2TP services on an RBS.	-
multicast	Backs up multicast services on an RBS.	-
all	Backs up all user services on an RBS.	-
igmp-snooping	Backs up IGMP-snooping services on an RBS.	-
dhcp-server	Backs up DHCP-Server on an RBS.	-
dhcpv6-relay	Backs up DHCPv6 Relay PD routes on an RBS.	-
daily daytime	Specify a backup start time.	The value is in the format of HH:MM:SS. HH indicates hours, and its value is an integer ranging from 0 to 23; MM indicates minutes, and its value is an integer ranging from 0 to 59; SS indicates seconds, and its value is an integer ranging from 0 to 59.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable a device to daily back up user services in an RBS to ensure that user information is the same on the master and backup devices, run the batch-backup service-type command.

Prerequisites

An RBS has been created using the remote-backup-service service-name command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The batch-backup service-type command applies only to user information's unidirectional backup. That is, user information on a local device is backed up to a remote backup device. Therefore, it is recommended that you run the command on both the master and backup devices when configuring an RBS.
