recycle

Function

The recycle command reclaims some IP addresses, namely to set the status of these IP addresses to "Idle".

By default, IPv4 addresses are not recycled.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

recycle start-ip-address [ end-ip-address ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
start-ip-address

The start IP address to be reused.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

end-ip-address

The end IP address to be reused.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When the user is not online, you can reclaim the occupied IP address manually by running this command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Reclaim the IP address 172.27.1.2 in the IP address pool huawei.
