Function

The remark-color enable command enables the re-marking function for flow queues in a flow queue profile in enhanced 8-CoS mode to differentiate and re-mark PIR and CIR traffic.

The undo remark-color enable command disables the re-marking function for flow queues in a flow queue profile in enhanced 8-CoS mode to stop differentiating and re-marking PIR and CIR traffic.

By default, the re-marking function is disabled for flow queues.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You can configure scheduling parameters for eight priority flow queues in a flow queue profile in enhanced 8-CoS mode. To enable the re-marking function for a flow queue with specified priorities, run this command. After the command is run, the system differentiates and re-marks PIR and CIR traffic.

Prerequisites

A flow queue profile in enhanced 8-CoS mode has been configured.

Precautions

The re-marking function takes effect only for upstream traffic.
