Function

The reset traffic-statistics vsi name command clears VPLS PW traffic statistics.

Format

reset traffic-statistics vsi name vsi-name [ peer peer-address [ negotiation-vc-id vc-id | ldp129 | remote-site remote-site-id ] ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vsi-name

Specifies the name of a VSI.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

peer peer-address

Specifies a peer IP address.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

negotiation-vc-id vc-id

Specifies a VC ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295.

ldp129

Indicates the LDP FEC 129 signaling.

Specifies a remote site ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 65534.

Usage Scenario

The display traffic-statistics vsi command allows you to check VPLS PW traffic statistics. To check VPLS PW traffic statistics collected within a specific period of time, you need to clear the previous traffic statistics by running the reset traffic-statistics vsi peer command.

Depending on the signaling protocol used by VPLS, traffic statistics collection on VPLS networks can be collected in either LDP or BGP-AD mode. Therefore, you can set the parameter in this command based on the VPLS signaling protocol.

Prerequisites

The traffic-statistics enable or traffic-statistics peer command must have been run in the VSI-LDP view, if you want to checkLDP VPLS PW traffic statistics.

Configuration Impact

After the reset traffic-statistics vsi peer command is run, all the previous statistics on the specified PW are cleared.
