service-instance-group

Function

The service-instance-group command binds a NAT instance to a service-instance-group instance group.

The undo service-instance-group command removes the binding between a NAT instance and a service-instance-group instance group.

By default, a NAT instance is bound to no service-instance-group instance group.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To bind a NAT instance to a service-instance-group instance group, run the service-instance-group command. This command helps properly transmit NAT services.

Precautions

In CGN load balancing plus inter-chassis hot backup scenarios, after running the service-instance-group command, you must run the remote-backup-service command to ensure that the two devices are simultaneously assigned IP addresses.

Example

# Bind a NAT instance named cpe1 to a service-instance-group instance named group1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] service-instance-group group1
[*HUAWEI-service-instance-group-group1] quit
[*HUAWEI] nat instance cpe1 id 1
[*HUAWEI-nat-instance-cpe1] service-instance-group group1
