service-location (System view)

Function

The service-location command creates a service-location backup group and displays the service-location backup group view.

The undo service-location command deletes a service-location backup group.

By default, no service-location backup group is configured.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

undo service-location service-location-id

Specifies the ID of a service-location backup group.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 16.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A service instance on a service board must be bound to a service-location backup group so that packets can be directed to the service board for service processing. The service-location command is the first step in basic service function configuration.

Follow-up Procedure

Run the display service-location command to view service-location backup group information.
