Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To configure a service policy template, run the service-policy command. The services include EDSG and portal services. The EDSG service integrates multiple services, and the portal service forcibly directs users to a specified web page after the users log in to a device.

Precautions

A value-added service policy template must have a unique name on a device. Value-added service policy templates can define the same service type.

The maximum capacity allowed for a service policy template is 4096.

Example

# Create an EDSG service policy template named test and enter the service policy view.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] service-policy name test edsg
# Create a portal service policy template named test and enter the service policy view.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] service-policy name test portal
