Function

The service activate-fail-record command enables a device to record information about failures to activate a service.

The undo service activate-fail-record command disables a device from recording information about failures to activate a service.

By default, a device is enabled to record information about failures to activate a service.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

To enable a device to record information about failures to activate a service, run the service activate-fail-record command. The recorded information helps diagnose faults.

Precautions

After the undo service activate-fail-record command is run, a device does not record information about failures to activate a service and remains the existing records.
