Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

During GMPLS UNI tunnel configuration, the tunnel-id command must be used to configure a tunnel ID of the GMPLS UNI tunnel. A tunnel ID uniquely specifies a tunnel on a device. Tunnel IDs facilitate tunnel planning and management when GMPLS UNI tunnels are used.

Precautions

The tunnel-id command must be run before tunnel configurations are committed. Otherwise, no tunnel will be created.

Example

# Set the tunnel ID to 100 for a GMPLS UNI tunnel.
