Function

The set boot password command is used to set or change the password of the Boot menu.

Format

set boot password slot slot-id

Parameters

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To set or modify the boot menu password of a device, run this command.

The supported password length is 8-255.
The password must contain at least two types of the following characters: Uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.
Special characters cannot contain question marks (?) or spaces.
