smart-clock cable-delay

Function

The smart-clock cable-delay command configures the feeder delay compensation value for the smart clock module of a GE optical interface.

The undo smart-clock cable-delay command restores the default configuration.

By default, the feeder delay compensation value of the Atom GNSS module on an interface is 0.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

smart-clock cable-delay delay-value

undo smart-clock cable-delay [ delay-value ]

Parameters

delay-value

Specifies the feeder delay compensation value of the Atom GNSS module on a specified interface.

The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 65535, in ns.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

For the Atom GNSS module, every 1m feeder corresponds to 5 ns delay compensation value. To configure the feeder delay compensation value for the smart clock module of a GE optical interface, run the smart-clock cable-delay command.

Precautions

This command does not apply to the single-mode smart clock module.
