smart-clock gnss-model

Function

The smart-clock gnss-model command configures the mode in which the multi-mode smart clock module on a GE optical interface works.

The undo smart-clock gnss-model command restores the default mode, that is, the GPS mode, for the multi-mode smart clock module.

By default, the multi-mode smart clock model works in GPS mode and does not support mode switching.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When a smart clock multi-mode clock is inserted into a GE optical interface, run this command to configure the working mode of the module based on the usage scenario and domain. If the feeders support the Beidou and GPS modes, the module can work in single-mode GPS or Beidou mode and does not perform mode switching. The module can be configured to work in Beidou mode in priority. When the Beidou mode does not work, the module can be switched to work in GPS mode or GPS+Beidou dual-mode.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.

When the multi-mode smart clock module performs mode switching, the GNSS source of the module is lost and the module works in a new mode. The module restores the tracing status only after satellite signals are received properly and the GNSS source is traced again.

This command does not apply to the single-mode smart clock module.

When only one mode parameter is available, the multi-mode smart clock module works in this mode and does not perform mode switching. When multiple mode parameters are available, the smart clock module works in the mode corresponding to the first parameter. When the first mode becomes unavailable, the smart clock module uses another mode based on the parameter setting order.
