The ssid command configures an (service set ID) SSID for WLAN services on a BAS interface. With this SSID, a fat access point (AP) can be connected to the BAS interface.
The undo ssid command deletes the SSID configured for WLAN services on a BAS interface.
By default, no SSID is configured on a BAS interface.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
The ssid command enables SSID information to be contained in the authentication request packet sent from a specified interface to the RADIUS server and contained in the URL used for forcible web authentication redirection sent to the user.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
