service-identify-policy (System view)

Function

The service-identify-policy command creates a service identification policy and displays the service identification policy view.

The undo service-identify-policy command deletes the configured service identification policy.

By default, no service identification policy is configured.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

service-identify-policy policy-name

undo service-identify-policy policy-name

Parameters

Specifies the name of a service identification policy.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In multi-play services, you can run the service-identify-policy command to identify Internet access traffic and to effectively manage bandwidth resources for such traffic.

The NetEngine 8000 F supports service identification for IPoE, IPoEoV, and IPoEoQ access users.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
