mpls te (Interface view)

Function

The mpls te command enables MPLS TE on an interface.

The undo mpls te command disables MPLS TE on an interface.

This command varies in transport and router modes. For detailed differences, see Differences Between Commands in Transport and Router Modes. This topic describes the command configuration in router mode.

By default, MPLS traffic engineering is disabled on an interface.

Usage Scenario

MPLS TE can be enabled on an interface after being enabled globally.

Disabling MPLS TE globally deletes all MPLS TE configurations. Disabling MPLS TE on an interface deletes all MPLS TE configurations on this interface. An MPLS TE-enabled interface can be used for establishing an MPLS TE tunnel.
