Function

The mpls te periodic-flooding command enables the periodic bandwidth information flooding function and sets an interval at which bandwidth information is flooded.

The undo mpls te periodic-flooding command disables the periodic bandwidth information flooding function.

By default, the periodic bandwidth information flooding function is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A tunnel interface can reserve bandwidth for a CR-LSP to be established or release bandwidth of a CR-LSP to be removed. The ratio of the reserved or released bandwidth to the reservable bandwidth on the tunnel interface may be below the flooding threshold, The default threshold is 10% of the remaining bandwidth of the current interface. To trigger bandwidth flooding in this scenario, run the mpls te periodic-flooding command to enable the periodic bandwidth information flooding function and set an interval at which bandwidth information is flooded.

Prerequisites

MPLS has been globally enabled.

Example

# Enable the periodic bandwidth information flooding function and set the interval at which bandwidth information is flooded to 20s.
