Function

The mpls te bfd tunnel enable auto-primary-tunnel command enables BFD for TE tunnel globally for a primary tunnel that is automatically established.

The undo mpls te bfd tunnel enable auto-primary-tunnel command restores the default path calculation function.

By default, BFD for TE tunnel is disabled globally for a primary tunnel that is automatically established.

Usage Scenario

PCEP can trigger the establishment of RSVP-TE and SR-MPLS TE tunnel:

To enable BFD for RSVP-TE tunnel , run the mpls te bfd tunnel enable auto-primary-tunnel pce-initiated-lsp command.
To enable BFD for SR-MPLS TE tunnel , run the mpls te bfd tunnel enable auto-primary-tunnel segment-routing command.
