mpls te entropy-label (Tunnel interface view)

Function

The mpls te entropy-label command configures the entropy label in the tunnel interface view.

The undo mpls te entropy-label command deletes the entropy label configurations.

By default, no entropy label is configured in the tunnel interface view, and the global entropy label setting is inherited in the tunnel interface view.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The entropy label is configured to address the severe load imbalance on a network. The entropy label capability is enabled on the egress for tunnels. An entropy label is set on the ingress. The mpls te entropy-label command is run in the tunnel interface view to confirm the tunnel entropy label requirement, and the ingress sends the requirement to the forwarding plane for processing. If no entropy label is configured in the tunnel interface view, the entropy label capability is determined by the global entropy label capability.

Prerequisites

A TE tunnel has been configured using the tunnel-protocol mpls te command in the tunnel interface view.

Example

# Configure an entropy label for a tunnel in the tunnel interface view.
<HUAWEI> system-view

[*HUAWEI-mpls] mpls te
[*HUAWEI-mpls] quit
[*HUAWEI] interface tunnel 1
[*HUAWEI-tunnel1] tunnel-protocol mpls te
[*HUAWEI-tunnel1] mpls te entropy-label
