Function

The traffic-policy match-rule packet-type command enables packet type-based filtering for MF classification.

The undo traffic-policy match-rule packet-type command disables packet type-based filtering for MF classification.

By default, packet type-based filtering is disabled for MF classification.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable Layer 3 packets to take precedence over Layer 2 packets during packet filtering, you can run the

traffic-policy match-rule packet-type command so that the system filters packets based on the packet type for MF classification.

  • For Layer 3 packets, the system obtains their Layer 3 packet information for matching.
  • For Layer 2 packets, the system obtains their Layer 2 packet information for matching.

    In VS mode, this command applies only to the admin VSand cannot be configured in other VSs. This command takes effect on all VSs.
