Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To apply a traffic policy to the upstream public-network-side traffic on the tunnel outbound interface to which a VSI is bound, run the traffic-policy policy-name network inbound link-layer command in the VSI view.

In the VSI view, a traffic policy can be applied only to the upstream direction, and only Layer 2 rules can be matched. The following VSI types are not supported: PBB VPLS, BD VPLS and P2P VPLS.

Precautions

The VSI ACL does not support redirection, URPF, forwarding action priority adjustment, syslog, sampling, or load balancing. If any of these actions is configured in a traffic behavior of a traffic policy, this traffic policy cannot be applied to the VSI instance view.

Only the NetEngine 8000-F1A supports PBB VPLS.

Example

# Apply the traffic policy named abc in the VSI view.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] mpls
[~HUAWEI-mpls] quit
[~HUAWEI] mpls l2vpn
[~HUAWEI-l2vpn] quit
[~HUAWEI] traffic policy abc
[*HUAWEI-trafficpolicy-abc] quit
[*HUAWEI] vsi vsi1
[*HUAWEI-vsi-vsi1] traffic-policy abc network inbound link-layer
