Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To apply a traffic policy to an EVPN instance to match the upstream public-network-side traffic on the tunnel egress PE, run the traffic-policy network inbound command.

Prerequisites

The bd-evpn-instanceview has been displayed using the evpn vpn-instance bd-mode command.

Precautions

The EVPN ACL does not support redirection, URPF, forwarding action priority adjustment, syslog, sampling, or load balancing. If any of these actions is configured in a traffic behavior of a traffic policy, this traffic policy cannot be applied to the bd-evpn-instanceview.

Example

# Apply the traffic policy named p1 to the EVPN instance named evpn1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] traffic policy p1
[*HUAWEI-trafficpolicy-p1] quit
[*HUAWEI] evpn vpn-instance evpn1 bd-mode
[*HUAWEI-evpn-instance-evpn1] traffic-policy p1 network inbound
