Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When IP addresses of VPNs are the same, upstream traffic on the MPLS-side interface of the MPLS tunnel egress cannot be classified based on VPN and IP address information, causing traffic directing problems. To address this issue, run the traffic-policy network inbound command to apply a traffic policy to a VPN instance.

L3VPN traffic policies are not supported in Carrier Supporting Carrier (CSC) scenarios.

Example

# Apply the traffic policy named p1 to the VPN instance named vpn1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] traffic policy p1
[*HUAWEI-trafficpolicy-p1] quit
[*HUAWEI] ip vpn-instance vpn1
[*HUAWEI-vpn-instance-vpn1] traffic-policy p1 network inbound
