trust upstream vxlan-mode

Function

The trust upstream vxlan-mode command configures VXLAN-DSCP-based BA classification to map VXLAN DSCP values of packets to internal priorities.

The undo trust upstream vxlan-mode command cancels VXLAN-DSCP-based BA classification.

By default, VXLAN-DSCP-based BA classification is not configured.

Format

trust upstream ds-domain-name inbound vxlan-mode

undo trust upstream inbound vxlan-mode

Parameters

Specifies the name of a DS domain.

The value is a string of 1 to 48 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When packets are forwarded out of a VXLAN tunnel, to inherit the packets' priorities in the VXLAN tunnel, run the trust upstream inbound vxlan-mode command.

After the trust upstream inbound vxlan-mode command is run, the system maps VXLAN DSCP values of packets to internal priorities.

Prerequisites

The DS domain and VXLAN have been configured.
