vpn-instance(IPv6 address prefix view)

Function

The vpn-instance command binds a VPN instance to an IPv6 prefix pool.

The undo vpn-instance command restores the default configuration.

By default, no VPN instance is bound to an IPv6 prefix pool.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

vpn-instance vpn-name

undo vpn-instance

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vpn-name

Specifies the VPN instance name.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

The vpn-instance command is used to bind a VPN instance to an IPv6 prefix pool.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

# Bind the VPN instance named vrf1 to the IPv6 prefix pool named huawei.
