Function

The isolate spoken command enables forwarding isolation between AC interfaces, between UPE PWs, and between AC interfaces and UPE PWs in a VSI.

The undo isolate spoken command disables forwarding isolation.

By default, forwarding isolation between AC interfaces, between UPE PWs, and between AC interfaces and UPE PWs is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If users using the same services are bound to the same VSI, you can use the isolate spoken command to prevent the users from communicating with each other. When using the

isolate spoken command, note the following:

  • For ordinary VPLS, communications between AC interfaces are prohibited.
  • For HVPLS, communications between AC interfaces, between AC interfaces and UPE PWs, and between UPE PWs are prohibited.

Prerequisites

A signaling protocol has been configured for the VSI instance.
