L2-MULTICAST/4/AllVsiGlobalEntryExceedVs: The number of L2 multicast entries has already reached the total global limit. (GmpAfVersion = [GmpAfVersion], LimitType=[LimitType], PafValue=[PafValue])

Description

Layer 2 multicast detected that the total number of multicast groups in all VSIs reached or exceeded the maximum number of global multicast groups.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
GmpAfVersion	GMP address family version: 1: IPv4 address family 2: IPv6 address family
LimitType	Limit type. 1: BD 2: VLAN 3: VSI
PafValue	Maximum number of global multicast groups in all VSIs, which is defined in the PAF file.

Possible Causes

The total number of global multicast group entries has reached or exceeded the global multicast group entry limit in the PAF file. This alarm is generated when a user attempts to join a new multicast group in the preceding case.
