Message

(AddrGroupName=[AddrGroupName], InstanceType=[InstanceType], InstanceName=[InstanceName], Threshold=[Threshold], Pre-IPNum=[Pre-IPNum], Slot=[Slot], Cpu=[Cpu])

This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

A no-PAT address pool was configured in a NAT64 instance. The proportion of the number of pre-allocated IP addresses in the public address pool to the upper limit reached the specified IP address usage.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

AddrGroupName

Name of an IP address pool.

InstanceType

Instance type.

InstanceName

Instance name.

Threshold

IP address usage threshold.

Pre-IPNum

Number of pre-allocated IP addresses.

Slot

Slot ID of a service board.

Cpu

CPU ID of a service board.

Possible Causes

A no-PAT address pool was configured in a NAT64 instance, and the IP address usage of the public address pool was set.

After users got online, a CGN device pre-allocated addresses in the address pool to the users.

The proportion of the number of pre-allocated IP addresses in the public address pool to the upper limit reached the specified IP address usage.

Procedure

1. Run the display nat64 address-usage command to view the usage of IP addresses in a specified public address pool. Check whether the proportion of pre-allocated IP addresses in the public address pool to the total supported ones reaches a specified threshold.

2. If IP address usage of the IP address pool reaches the threshold, perform either of the following operations:

  • Run the nat64 alarm address-group port-number threshold command in the NAT64 instance view to increase the IP address usage.
  • Increase the number of IP addresses that can be allocated in the address pool of the NAT64 instance. For details, see nat64 address-group.

3. If the specified threshold is reached or IP addresses are used up, go to Step 4.

4. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
